How can I resume work on my 2023 Tax return (file xyz.tax23)?

When I browse for the file the 2023 Turbotax only allows .tax22 or .pdf?

Click on the File menu at the top left of the desktop program screen. Click on Open Tax Return. Browse to where you saved the 2023 tax return, file extension .tax2023.

TurboTax stores tax data files and saved PDF's in the TurboTax folder within the Documents directory, by default.

I previously filed my 2018 taxes with TurboTax online. I need to access my state return from that year but only a .tax file is shown. How do I open the file?
