If you are referring to the Refund Advance offer, that works through Credit Karma (which is also an Intuit company} to receive the funds in a Credit Karma account. In fact, one of the listed requirements for Refund Advance is :
.You must open or have an existing Credit Karma Money™ checking account.
The FAQ also lists additional requirements and provides more info on how Credit Karma is involved in the processing.

Or are you asking about an earlier loan offer? If you are referring to the earlier offer for TurboTax Flex Advance loan, that loan program didn't require Credit Karma, but that program is no longer active. It was set to expire whenever all the available funds were used up or December 31, 2025, whichever was to come first. I believe they halted it in the first half of December. For future reference, if you scroll down on the page linked below, there are some FAQs about that program.
