How can I edit the 1098 I already reported ?

If you have already mailed or electronically submitted your tax return, then you will have to wait until the original return is processed.  You should prepare a Form 1040X to correct any errors that were made.

If you have not filed your tax return, then you can make corrections to the Form 1098 by:

• Typing "form 1098" in the Search box 
• Clicking the Jump to form 1098 link or the Go to Form 1098 button
• Clicking Edit to make any corrections to the form
