I'm sorry you're having such a hard time. My brother is too amd I know how frustrated he is. I did read an article yesterday that said if the IRS gave you a date that your money was supposed to be direct deposited and it wasnt in the bank that day,  it could be because banks are overwhelmed too and they can take a few extra days to get it in there and for it to show as "pending". I wish you the best, hope it comes soon!

I also entered my information on April 15th and when I check it gives me the message that I am eligible and the last 4 digits of my bank account number with no deposit date. Same for my husband as we file jointly. We are past the point of desperation for this money. I have lost hope and major depression has set in.  No one to at the IRS to even talk to to let them know that someone needs to release these payments.  I feel defeated.

Have you tried changing your direct deposit info? I did, because turbo card charges fees and the IRS sent me a check on the 24th which I received on the 27th. Make a cash app account and change your direct deposit info.

I didn't have a Turbo tax Card when I filed. Yes I went to IRS website and read my status. Yes the account match. NetSpend Card I have. Matabank is not accepting calls and The website tells you nothing about why they haven't or won't deposit my check. I don't know what to do at this point. All I know is the IRS has deposited my check to my account at Matabank.

@By-nh I'm so sorry you're going through the emotional strain this causes. I, too, put my information into the GMP tool on the 15th and I've yet to see a change on my status. It still says I'm eligible, with my correct account info, from the last digits. But no date. Hoping for Saturday to see dates, as the IRS posted a new FAQ on the 26th that if the info was entered on a Tuesday before noon, a date would be provided Saturday. Many people who were in this same forum, with the same issue, received payment dates last Saturday. Fingers crossed for us to see dates tomorrow. Don't lose hope. Easier said than done, I know. But I'm sending good vibes.

I put my update in on a monday. Told me I was eligible. Then the next Monday I got a date. Then the following Thursday it was in my account. So the whole process takes about 2 weeks after u update your dd. Hope this helps

I pray that TurboTax is not the reason we can't get paid. I used the free filing with TurboTax. If it isn't really free filing why won't they just tell us. I am willing to pay cause I just used basic filing. I didn't have a Turbo Tax Card and I wasn't asked to get one before filing with them. Turbo Tax will loose a lot of people's over this if that is the case.

U will get ur date on Saturday. U missed the Tuesday deadline which would have given u ur date this past sat so now u will get it this sat
