This is absolutely no help as all it does is direct me to the IRS website for which the number listed there got 'Get IP PIN' get one to an identity theft center that has nothing to do with either the CP01A notice or the IP PIN. And using ID.me on the IRS website wants a lot of information, which I provided, yet I did not get anywhere there either. My ID.me works fine on VA.gov.
I need to an efficient way on what to do if I have not received the CP01A notice for the 2021 taxes
If you already have an account with ID ME then when you log in to your account on the IRS website you should be able to use that to access your account ...
If you did not get the IP PIN : https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/retrieve-your-ip-pin
Oh, I wish that were the case, yet it sends me in circles even after I provided all the documentation.
There is a great article to explain about the CP01A notice here.

Thanks for all the responses; however, what I had to do was call my local IRS and talk to an agent (after only 45 minutes of waiting) to set up an appt. During the call, I found that they did not send a CP01A notice and actually had no record of PINs being issues although they were used on the 2020 returns. Then today, I had a call with ID.me to verify my credentials and was able to go online and get my PIN. I will have my wife do the same so we can hopefully avoid the in-person meeting.
