direct deposit updates that occur by a Thursday are to be direct deposited by the end of the following week.

i finally got into the portal and it let me put in my dd info. It said it would deposit my money into my acct. It didnt give me a date though. So maybe you should try it today. I guess they got it working

the IRS told Congress that for updates of direct deposit information provided by a Thursday will be paid the following week

Update : I updated my DD info on the IRS website last week. They said my check would  be mailed out on the 24th. I received my stimulus check today, April 21st. Just be patient guys. Goodluck to everyone! TurboTax messed us all up!

Did it get direct deposited or came in the mail? I updated my info on the 15th at 5am and it still says I am going to get a direct deposit but no date is available when.....So I dont know what is happening with me l know people who updated their info after me and their status changed to getting a paper check

I updated my DD information on the 15th and still have no update. Some people are saying their status changed to paper check and some have already received their paper check. Mine still says it is being deposited in account ending in 8081. Does anybody else have the same problem and does anybody know when we will receive ours

Same thing here! I do think the people who had it update to paper check were probably already scheduled in the first group. I think the paper checks are going by income.

Yes mine still says being deposited in hoping Friday it does. I keep checking daily to see if changed to paper check

Where did you hear Friday it supposed to be DD. I have seen a few people mention Friday..where was this posted?
