I got a letter from IRS to mail/fax a 1095a and a 8962 form. How will I know they have received it? How long does it generally take to get confirmation?

I faxed my papers in on 2/15. Just called on 3/2 and he said fax was received and could be up to 8 weeks. Where’s my refund shows still topic 152 with no amount.  So confused people faxed papers after me and have an answer

I think it depends who you talk to. There are a lot of people with DD of 3/7 who faxed paperwork around the same time.

New update! Faxed paperwork 2/14
No bars, still being processed, amount still shown along with tax topic 52. WMR just updated to approved with DD. The whole time the WMR never updated until now.

Mine still says a refund date will be provided when available, the only amount I see is the one beneath  my social to the left. Still says topic 152.

Yes@ Desiree mine said the same thing before approval. There is a group on FB called "1095A and 8962 filers 2018" there are a lot of people there with a lot of info.

I called irs on 2/21 to check on refund. I was told a letter was mailed.... To my OLD address! IRS needed a 1095A I couldn't provide anything but a 1095B so I faxed it in the same day, every time I call the irs they just tell me something else, 4wks now 6 to 8 wks!! They suck

3/3: Your tax refund is scheduled to be sent to your bank by March 7, 2018.  If your refund is not credited to your account by  March 12, 2018 , check with your bank to see if it has been received.

Transcripts available 3/2 with “refund issued” date of 3/7. The refund amount is unchanged, not reflecting adjustment from Form 8962. No bars yet on WMR.

Tax topic 152 was back 3/1. Refund amount disappeared (my 8962 increased amount due to me).

Faxed in 1095A/8962 forms  2/26.

They must be processing faster. I sent mine in 2/21 and called Friday 3/2 and they still did not have the verification code for receipt.
