Federal return was accepted, had to amend

Amended federal return. Owed some $ back from refund which is in my acct already. Paid electronically but it's not out of my acct . What do I do?

Do NOTHING ... if you asked for a direct debit of the balance due on the amended return the IRS will eventually get around to making the debit but it will not happen until they finally get around to processing the amended returns.  They are on the back burner right next to all of the original balance due returns and eventually they will catch up.  Write the amount out of your account and one day it will be gone.
