If the primary taxpayer on your tax return isn't the account holder on your Credit Karma account, Credit Karma may not be able to process your advance. Check to see if the primary taxpayer on your tax return is the same person whose name the Credit Karma account is in.
To check this in TurboTax Online:
- Open TurboTax Online
- Select Tax Home in the left pane
- On the Hi, let's keep working on your taxes! screen, select the dropdown to the right of Personal Info, then select Continue or Review/Edit
- On the Personal info summary screen, the primary taxpayer will be the first person listed
