Early acceptance for 2020 return

So my federal return was accepted around 9pm on February 9th instead of February 12th, I was kind of excited to be accepted early for the first time ever, now I am wondering if that actually means I will be getting my refund early as well or if it was even exciting news at all? The irs site is only at first bar on wmr nd has been since I checked right after I received my acceptance email. I am reading some places online that say people who were accepted early started getting refunds as early as February 12th. I had the eic and actc and recovery rebate credit for my dependents. Has anyone else claiming any of these credits and also got accepted before the February 12th acceptance date gotten the approval bar or a DDD on the irs wmr tool? Please comment with any helpful information

You will probably have to wait an extra week or two because of those credits.

If accepted, they try to process it within three weeks but it can be longer.  if you have earned income credit or additional child tax credit, it will be at least the end of February before you see your refund, due to the PATH act that requires that they hold your refund longer.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 34of your 2020 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.
