E-filing error

We e-filed our Federal early.   Recently tried to e-file our State form.  Every time I attempted to do this, the Federal form was filed again.  This happened about 5 times.  How do I correct this with IRS so that I’m not in trouble?

The Federal can only be filed one time.  If you try to efile a second time it will reject.

To check on the status of your tax return, just log back into your Turbo Tax account. You will see the status of your tax return on the first page. 

If there is an issue with your return, follow the on screen directions to make any corrections that are needed.
