Reviewing this topic I see that in a post just 3 weeks ago which would be January 2024 and is obviously for 2023 returns filed in 2024 ..."we include everything that was sent to the government, plus extra documentation and calculation worksheets." But I've downloaded several times and the worksheets are not included. I tried doing what I've done in prior years which is to ADD A STATE, then go to Tax Tools> Print Center. But affer I click ADD A STATE nothing happens---- still no Tax Tool on the left side. The only thing on the left is Home, Documents and then down at the bottom Intuit Account, Espanol, sign out. I might be overlooking something but I can't figure out what.
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
You said when you click on Add a state nothing happens. What exactly do you mean? Do you mean that after clicking on Add a state the screen stays exactly the same? Or something else?
OMG-- Really, I'm sure nothing happened when I clicked Add a state the first time but NOW --- There it is, Tax Tool right under File on the left. All is good now. Sorry to be so .... 😛
But why is there a previous post that say all documents and calculation worksheets are included in the download? Is that referring to something different?
@Ybg12 Yes, there is a difference. For all prior tax year returns the PDF download has all the forms, schedules and worksheets included in the download. The user does not need to click on Add a state for prior tax years.
