Does the IRS update the WMR tool on the weekends? I am hoping someone with definite knowledge of this answers please.

Once per day, usually at night. There’s no need to check more often.

Yeah, I saw that but it doesn't specify whether or not it updates on the weekends. Most businesses are closed on the weekends.

The updates are all automated so it does not matter if it is a weekday or a weekend.

Yeah but don't they have people reviewing the information (during the processing stage)? If was completely automated, I feel like WMR would show you the same answer on Sat/Sun as it did on Friday. But I am completely clueless as to how the IRS works, which is why I ask.

Mine says accepting and pending during the week. On weekends it says my information is correct and acts like I’ve never even filed.
