The IRS Get My Payment has nothing to do with TurboTax. It is an IRS app, which they have been having trouble with the app.
The Get My Payment application will return "Payment Status Not Available" for several reasons, including:
We update Get My Payment data once per day, overnight so there is no need to check more often. If you are eligible for a payment and have provided your information either through a recent tax return or the Non-Filers: Enter Payment Info Here application, please check back for updates.
@Linny11182 You don't need to enter anything since you are on SS. Your stimulus money will be deposited in the same account your receive your SS benefits in. See the following from the IRS.
If you receive these benefits, we already have your information and you will receive $1,200.

People keep commenting with no answers. Thank you for copying and pasting information i have read 50 times now. I know you all think you have the answers saying that intuit and turbotax have nothing to do with it but what you obviously do not know or you wouldnt be wasting your time typing and my time rereading, is that the IRS is having a problem with TurboTax filers who received their return on a TurboCard rather than direct deposit. Only some of us have been affected and because it is such a small scale issue, most of what we are finding is EXACTLY what you posted. Thank you but if you dont know whats going on or if you arent affected by the problem just go away. I have scoured the internet for hours a day for about 13 days. The easiest answers you are finding are not what we need.
Now to the original poster, no i dont think they have resolved their issues. My 2019 return was filed and received months ago. I have used both my tax returns 2018 and '19. TT sent me an email with my TTcards direct deposit information and IRS says its wrong. I have even given the whole thing over to my mom because i swear i have done everything right and it still says the information is incorrect and does not match their database. I keep finding that the page updates every 24 hours so I try almost every day until it locks me out. There is nobody to call or email. I have quadruple checked everything. As it stand we are most likely going to have to wait for it in the mail. Mine is looking like it will be sent out by the 4th of May.
It doesn't say the Information is Unavailable on the IRS site, it says what I entered doesn't match their records or the have not received my 2019 tax return. You e-filed my tax return a month ago. So, is it on your end? Can we all please get a real answer? The IRS says it's likely my stimulus check is addressed to go to you, TurboTax because I used your e-file system.
I have the same problem... Whomever answered this orginal question did not read it. I entered my tax data from my 2018 return (completed in turbotax) and the IRS says the information I entered did not match their records.... How can that be?
I am having the same exact issue! The same message. I cant find ANY information and dont know who to call or what to do. Following this post in case anyone has answers
Same situation here. No answers from the net OR intuit. I absolutely know I enter the information correctly and it still says it is not the same info they have... how could it have changed other than through the tax site I originally filed or the IRS (and they don't have it apparently). This is so frustrating and urgent for my family so whomever tries to help, please actually read these posts.
I am having the same issue- I can't even find anything online that explains it except it's just a glitch or a mistake on the end of the IRS. How can we go about solving this?

Unfortunately, this topic is not solved. I'm glad someone got the answer they needed, but most of us are still stuck. I don't agree that one right answer solved it for the rest of us. Don't worry, most of us have given up on getting the correct answer.
Go to the IRS website (irs.gov) and click Get Your Tax Record. If you do not have an IRS sign-in, register as a new user and it will ask a few things to verify you identity. Once in you can immediately download a return transcript and other account records. The transcript compares what the "Computer" or IRS calculated vs. the return as filed. If the IRS changed anything (rounding error, etc.) you will see on the transcript.
I'm having the same problem in the Get Payment application - information does not match. I received a $1 refund check (yes, an actual check) from the IRS after having my refund applied to the 2020 tax year. I do not know if this is causing my issue but TT was off that resulted in the $1 more refund amount. I have tried entering different refund amounts in the IRS website: amount of refund on return, refund amount plus $1, $1 and $0.
Tried again today after the website underwent changes but locked out again. Good luck - maybe your have better result than me.
SO annoying. It's my third day in a row trying. Then I get locked out for a day. I KNOW my info is correct when it comes to entering my AGI, amount owed etc. I have my checkbook in front of me for routing etc. It IS CORRECT. Keeps saying it doesn't match their records. Please somebody help :((((
Stefanih, I am about to try noles21's suggestion and let you know if that solves my problem and it might solve yours since it sounds very similar to mine. I'll let you know.
noles21, thanks for that suggestion. That gives me at least something to try!
It's the same thing for me unfortunately.
I currently work abroad and have been inputting literally everything verbatim on my tax return in regards to my address and postal code.
However the IRS tool -STILL- insists that none of my information still matches the exact records I have on my 2019 tax return.
