Why is it taking to long it still says ready to print and mail and its going on 3rd week

Why is it taking to long it still says ready to print and mail and its going on 3rd week

Did you print & mail the return ? If you did then it can take 4 weeks to show on the IRS site ... and another 2 weeks or more to process it.
