Deposit date

My refund is set to be sent to my bank by 2/24. Does that mean I’ll receive it that day or a day or two before or after that date?

You do not say who gave you that date.   TurboTax only gives you an estimated date that you cannot count on.   if the IRS is saying they will issue your refund on that date, they also tell you to allow up to five days for it to post to your account.

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control.  TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2021 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

Generally, it means you will receive it that day. However, depending on your bank, it could take an additional five days for your bank to post the money to your account.
