Date entered must be on or after today.

At very last, it keep telling me "date entered must be on or after today". No matter what day I entered, it didn't work and did let me go any further step. I erased all data.

Date entered must be on or after today.

Are you in Hawaii by any chance?

This can happen in Hawaii at the end of a month close to Midnight due to time zones.  You are still on Jan 31, and the rest of the USA is Feb.1.   It will probably resolve within a few hours, so you might as well just wait until morning.    It can also happen if the date/time is not set correctly on your computer.

Thank you. You got it. The system soak up my time and private information, but didn't let me complete the job done by time zone issue. Whoever made this system didn't know there are time zones then. what a shitty system. I'm not using it no more.

@ david
This is an old thread from last year, which had to do with an evening last year when a large number of users in Hawaii and Alaska had a problem on the Signature Page due to Hawaii and Alaska time zones on the last day of January.  Those 2 times zones can sometimes have a problem at the end of a month when part of the USA has already started the 1st day of the next month.. So if you're also referring to the Signature Page, while it's on the same screen, it is not exactly the same as your issue.

Be sure your computer date and time are set correctly.   If you have a current issue, please post it as a new thread so it will show up to the whole forum as seeking help.   Here's how

.When you go to the form at the link below, the first box is for a summary of your question, like a title, and is limited to 170 characters..  If you need more room, lower on the form you will come to another box with plenty of room to enter details.    This is a public Internet forum, so don't post any personal info.

I'll close this old thread.

You didn't say what particular screen you were referring to.  Is the following your issue?

If you’re having trouble paying your taxes with direct debit, and seeing the error message “the payment date cannot be after 04/17/18”  that's a different issue than this thread.

If that's what you are experiencing, see this FAQ:
<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4463554">https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/4463554</a>

One of the options there is a credit card processor, but there can be hefty fee.  I believe 1.87% for that particular one if paying by credit card.

Another option not shown there is IRS Direct Pay, to pay directly from your bank account for free at this page:
<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.irs.gov/payments/direct-pay">https://www.irs.gov/payments/direct-pay</a>.

If that's not your situation, then you can start a new thread, as I mentioned above.
