If you had fees taken out it went through SBTPG; google sbtpg and click on taxpayer login, enter your info and your refund details should pop up.
I had fees taken from my refund to pay turbo tax... I got the remainder on the turbo card..... I beleive the stimulus will still go to my card because that is the info on my taxes. I checked the info. The routing and account info on my tax forms is the same as my turbo card. So I dont think having fees taken from your taxes really matters.
All I can say is you people need to quit arguing over stupid **bleep**. Sound like a bunch of **bleep**ing married people.
If you can use your turbo card for your employer to put your check on it then that it is were your check will u go from the Treasury. Now u people need to shut up
To all on this thread ... UNTIL THE CHECKS start going out NO ONE will know anything for sure.
Make a deal ... the first one who has a TT Debit card that they got thru the processing bank tells the rest of the world and we will all know.
I called TurboTax yesterday and they informed me that are stimulus checks would not go onto our TurboTax cards
I called Turbo Tax today and they said that it would in fact go onto the cards. The cards are just like a checking account,. So who know which is correct.
You called TT ... they are not the processing bank so how do you know they have the correct answer when the processing bank says another thing ?
IF you entered the debit card DD info on the return and did not use the processing bank to pay the TT fees then you will be getting your refund and stimulus to the card.
BUT ... if you had the TT fees withheld from the fed refund AND were issued a new card then the processing bank says no ... https://www.sbtpg.com/coronavirus-stimulus-payment-info/
The IRS will issue direct deposits to taxpayers that received a direct deposit.
An IRS-issued check will be mailed to taxpayers that received a check printed from their tax professional's office or a debit card issued through Santa Barbara TPG.
The IRS and Treasury Department are developing a website for taxpayers who are expecting a check, where they can provide their bank account information in order to receive their Economic Impact Payment by direct deposit. According to this message on the IRS website the IRS will notify taxpayers when more details are available. We will update this page when more information is available.
I STILL THINK THE FIRST PERSON SOUNDS THE BELL.
Im a little confused...if IRS is going by our 1040 and our account and routing numbers match to our TT card; what does Santa Barbara has to do with anything? I receive my state refund on my TT card with no issue.
I am not sure what a SBTPG debit card is, but I was informed that those are the Walmart debit cards issued thru SBTPG. The Turbo Tax cards are not issued thru SBTPG, but instead a collaboration with Intuit and Green Dot, SBTPG has nothing to do with the Turbo Tax/Intuit debit cards. I could be wrong ,and if I am we will see soon enough.
Sorry just one more question, I looked at the SBTPG site and where did it say this exactly BUT ... if you had the TT fees withheld from the fed refund AND were issued a new card then the processing bank says no ? I could not find this verbiage just curious so I can be sure. Thanks
I also received my state refund on my Turbo Card without SBTPG being involved. So somehow the state had the correct routing and account number to get me my refund. I filed on Turbo for both state and federal at the same time. I am curious as well.
