I did my Turbo Tax Return on 4/1/21. It said I owed over $4,211 to the IRS. When I heard the news that the filing date was extended until 5/15/21, I filed online then and planned to pay the money owed now. I opened my tax return and it now states I'm to get a refund. How can this be? Please call me at [phone number removed] ASAP. I prefer this to texting back and forth, because I'm a computer dinosaur and have no one here to help me. I believe I have created a future payment of what I owe to come out of my checking account on 5/17. What do I need to do? Could you look over my return and see what has occurred? Thank you!

were you out of work and collected unemployment compensation?
If so, that is the reason.
IRS is adjusting your filed return, so there is nothing to do.
It is too late now to cancel that payment which will happen Monday.
