Some returns take longer to process than others. We do not know why yours is taking longer than you think it should. The IRS does not give any information to TurboTax after you file your tax return. TurboTax cannot speed them up for you. If they want more information from you they will send you a letter. Meanwhile all you can do is check for information on the IRS refund site. TurboTax will not have any information about your refund.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:

Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.
You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2022 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

If you chose to have your TurboTax fees deducted from your federal refund, that will take some extra time, while the third party bank handles the refund processing.

OR——if you filed by mail, expect a long wait. It is taking the very backlogged IRS six to nine months to process mailed returns. Until a human opens your envelope and enters the data into the system, nothing will even show up on the refund site, so you will have to be very patient.
If you are getting earned income credit on line 27 or additional child tax credit on line 28 You are subject to the delay required by the PATH act. Do not expect your refund earlier than late February.

There may be several reasons your refund is not showing up in the IRS system.
First, did you file your return? And was it accepted by the IRS? Did you get an email or text alert from TurboTax saying your return was filed and another message saying it was accepted?
Many customers think they’ve filed their return but never transmit it. Or their return is rejected and never fixed. Make sure the IRS has actually accepted your return.
Second, it may be too soon. Returns do now show up immediately in the IRS system. You don’t say when you sent your return. IRS says to start checking Where’s My Refund? 24 hours after e-filing the tax year 2022 return or 4 weeks after filing on paper.
Third, did you mail your return? If you mailed your return, the IRS may not have received it, or it got lost in the mail or the IRS has not transferred your data. The IRS mail is backed up.
