Can you confirm that Turbo Tax has history proving that my tax return went to IRS successfully?

I got an email on 4/7/2021 from TurboTax that IRS accepted my tax return.  Why does Intuit inline state that I have not sent my tax return?

Do you have an unfiled State return?  Or more than one TT acocunt?

I only mailed in 1 tax return for my wife and myself.  The NYS tax return processed properly and they accepted the tax return they submitted.  I can not get any info from the IRS tax return that was sent to the IRS at the same time.  None of their online options provide any information on tax return status although it has been more that 6 weeks since it was submitted....................Robert Estochen

NYS tax return was sent in on April 7 and was processed completely by NYS within 2 weeks.  I can get nothing from IRS on status of IRS Tax return status.  TurboTax should be able to communicate this problem with the IRS and get some details on status!!!!

If you mailed in your return to the IRS then you have a LONG LONG time to wait ... due to the understaffing and overworked personnel at the IRS again this year mailed in returns could take MONTHS to process or even show up on the WMR? tool.  

Due to understaffing and over tasking at the IRS again this year many returns will be delayed for as much as months.  The aging computer system is being over taxed trying to process millions of  2019 returns and 2020 returns (some of which will need extra processing this year due to the late tax law changes)  AND putting out the third stimulus payments.  If you want to vent to someone then contact your  local congress person and demand they fund the IRS sufficiently so that they can hire enough people and update their computer systems to handle all of the demands made upon this agency.  The IRS  can only do so much with the continued reductions to their budget.
