Can I get an early refund with turbo tax like you can do with H&R Block?

I am in desperate need of funds..car payment overdrew my account.my paycheck could not cover  it all...My car is ready to leave shop with deductible of 500.00..i have no grocery money ..My dogs are both sick and have an appointment Tuesday 26th... Could you please help I am alone here with my grandson and at a loss as to what to do..My furnace breaking down twice last month has really set me back.. thank you... Darlene

This is an old thread from months ago that transferred into this new forum and thus has the wrong dates on it.

I don't believe TurboTax offers a refund anticipation/cash advance at this time of the year.  However, there is still a FAQ for a "cash advance" if offered when choosing a Turbo Prepaid VISA Card, but it may be old info.  The FAQ says "limited time offer", and I believe it expired last filing season.   Also it was only offered to certain users who met certain criteria; not all filers would see the offer.    I'm currently asking TurboTax to confirm that it's no longer available.    

Whether anything will be offered next tax season has not been announced.

Hello,

I was hoping I could apply for the Turbo Advance. My mother is having some financial difficulties, and she’s on a fixed income. She can’t apply for loans or of course income taxes. I’m really wanting/needing to help her. I’m her only child close, and I’m not in the best financial  situation  to get her caught up on rent and utilities.

REFUND ADVANCE

Last year for 2018 returns, certain qualified users were offered refund advance amounts on prepaid Visas at the time of e-filing, predicated on the amount of the refund and their returns being accepted by the IRS.  But it had to be offered--there was no way to opt in by request. If they offer a similar program for 2019 returns, do not expect to see it until January.  Since a return cannot be e-filed and accepted until the end of January, you could not receive a loan until early February at best.

Yes . I filed last night late and woke up to 500$ deposited on a turbo tax prepaid card. I am able to use the card online now.
