I agree they told me I may have a outstanding debt to decrease my refund which isn’t the case at all and they denied me never again I should of learned last year when they made a mistake with my refund in general sickening I will go back with h and r block!!!!

The Refund Advance will be available this year to select customers. You will not be able to self-select into the offer. If the offer is available to you then you will be able to select it in the Your refund info step of the File section. Here's an article you can view for more information.

We don't know if they will offer Advances for 2019.  If they do, you can't apply for it.  Only if they offer it to you when you file.

Last year for 2018 returns the Refund Advance was only offered to select customers.  It was a prepaid Visa on which some qualified users could get a refund loan--but only after their tax returns have been filed and accepted by the IRS which won't be until late January.

No.  TurboTax is not offering any type of Advance on a 2019 tax refund at this time.

I filed my taxes a week or so ago they just got accepted and my advance of 1500 was deposited today 6 mins after being accepted. So no not a scam. Yes people are approved.  My wifes has been accepted bout same time but her advance has yet to show. So idk maybe they close their eyes and pick a name off a list. That the approval process.

This is my first year with Turbo tax. It will be my last!!!! When I filled out my taxes, I was offered the refund advance and approved It said I would receive $2,000. They sent me the card through the mail and the card info online. Well, today I got an email saying I wasn't approved. How can they do that!?! It's bad business and I will be reporting to the BBB!!! They are lying to people just to get them to use their services. I'm happy for the few that have received the advance! Y'all are lucky!!
