I had to mail in the 2020 tax return, the IRS has cashed my check but has NOT processed the return. I tried to e-file my 2021 return and it was rejected stating the AGI was incorrect. I enetered the correct AGI from the 2020 return. But the IRS hasn't processed that return so do I use the 2019 AGI? Can I e-file? or do I have to mail in the returns until the IRS finally processes the 2020 return

Since the IRS has not processed the 2020 tax return you enter a 0 (zero) for the 2020 AGI so that you can e-file the 2021 tax return.
there was no option to choose "the 2020 return has not processed yet"
how do i get this option?
