Can I file 8832 after filing corporate

I have a foreign LLC where I am the only owner and employee. It is elligible to be filed as a disregarded entity, but it has been so far filed by the default rule, C-Corp, so I filed forms 5471 and 1120. I wanted to change it to be filed as a foreign disregarded entity. The company is 2,5 years old, so it is passed the initial 75 days but not the extended 3 years+75 days late relief time. I wanted to know if I can file a form 8832 for this?

So, can I simply change the status effective today? Or would the effective date have to be the foundation of the company? And if it has to be the foundation, I guess I would need to file a late relief. Would that mean I have to amend the previous years filed to refile the company and my personal forms as if I had filed 8832 on time?
