What do you mean "state TAX WAS OMITTED" ?   Did you miss entering in some state withholding ?   Did you file the state return yet ?

Yes I forget the state tax and yes it was submitted.

Well now you must wait for the original return to be fully processed to see if the state picks up on this error ... sometimes they do.  If they don't then you can amend the return.
