Can I amend state return only and print to send in. It wants me to resend federal as well. How do I save and print only. No option to not efile federal amended form

Unemployment AGI change. Federal does not want an amended return, and state does.

To amend the state return but not the federal you will use the "Add a state" option when signing in to your TurboTax account.  This will allow you to make changes to your return without initiating a federal amendment. 

Once you are back in the return for editing be sure to make your returns look like the originally filed returns.  That means adding the unemployment income that was excluded back in to your federal return in the Unemployment 1099G topic.   

Once everything is back to the original state then go to your state interview and click through to the page asking if you want to amend your state return.  Click "Yes" and follow the prompts to complete the state amendment.  Part of the steps will be to go back and exclude the Unemployment income that you added back in earlier.  In the end you will get the printing/mailing option for the state amendment.
