I have not received my state refund and I did an amended tax return you said to wait until i receive my refund before i send in the amended return.

Call your state to find out what the hold up is for your refund for your original return they should be able to tell you whats going on  and when you can expect it.

Once you speak to them about your original return you can then make the decision if you should go ahead and send in your amended return or wait a bit longer.
