Ok i got a ddd of feb 22 2018 my bank rejected it because my name was only one on account and not both mine and my husbands. Now we have a code of 1121. Has this happened

It was a person , it wasn't difficult or that many just stuff that pertained to the return

I'm in the same boat as everyone else, filed end of Jan. DDD 2/22 by 2/24 found out the bank denied it due to my hubby's name not being on the account. Gave us the run around 10 week bs. Yesterday we get a letter in the mail that we have to call and verify, so we did. The guy stated we should see an update by Wednesday since everything was correct. He asked us to verify our bank account number and routing. Says we should see our direct deposit in a few weeks but the earliest being next week. We have been waiting for a paper check but he States they will just put it in our account. Not sure how true that it but we are hopeful. I will update as soon as I see any changes. Miamaiivy1986 why would they put it in your account if it got rejected in the first place? I want to do the check mailed option.  Ours was rejected 3/14 for a name issue.

I had a DD for 2/22 as well, letter sent out March 19, that I had to wait 8-10 weeks due to my bank account . I got a letter today in the mail stating that I need to call in and verify my identity and then a checked would be mailed in 9 weeks.

No letter for me... but I did receive transcripts I found out I will update only on a Friday.  I also found out how to get your transcripts asap.... download fax burner on your phone it will give you a fax number,  then call the irs and tell them you're at a library or a school and you need your account transcripts for a loan.  I got mine within 10 mins. Hope this help someone

I thought the same exact thing. We have been waiting on a check but now being told since everything was correct and should have never had to verify in the first place they could just direct deposit. So I'm hoping for an update soon.

So we also got the letter on Friday to verify our identity. We called the number today but was told we did not need to verify our identity and it looks like our return was frozen but there is no longer a condition to keep it frozen. So he transferred us to a different number but that person just says there is nothing we need to do its being reviewed and we will either get a letter or our return by May 29th. This [profanity removed] is just confusing. How hard is it to mail a damn check out.

So today made 9 weeks for me since the letter so I called the irs today and they sent a referral to release my refund...hoping for a update Saturday

Got a letter yesterday, it said they were still reviewing the return and would be done by June 5th and then they would send another notice saying what would happen next
