Before I complete my tax forms, how do I change my refund method from direct deposit to a paper check?

I need to change my refund method to paper check but turbotax will not let me go back to change that selection.

Did you say to deduct the fees from your refund?  You have to use direct deposit for that.  To get a paper check you have to pay the fees up front with a credit card.  Go back though the FILE tab and change your choices.

You cannot use the Pay with Refund option if you want a paper check.  If you did choose this option, then click on File on the left side of the online program screen.  On Step 1 click on Revisit and then click on View Payment options.  Choose Pay with Credit Card.  And follow the next procedure.

Otherwise click on File and on Step 2 click on Revisit.  On the screen How would you like to receive your federal refund?  Click on See other options  Select Paper check
