Anyone in New York get their state return before federal ?

Just wondering anyone here get their state return before federal. Been doing my taxes here last ten years and never got state before federal and this year the state came first . Just wondering if maybe my return got flagged or something ( not even getting back much ) or is this normal this year ? Thanks

Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities, There is no rule as to which one will come first or how much time there will be between their arrivals.
