Question

Anyone else get this error: Something changed in your returnYou'll need to choose your refund method again.

Everything is good to go. All forms ready. Refund method is advance option and it has been approved. It just keeps taking me in a circle and will not let me file.

Run Review and see what changed.  Then fix the return and do the file again.

Did you also use the Chrome browser and clear browsing data for all time before signing iin?

Same message I am getting.

I have "turbo advance" selected as my refund method and it did pre qualify me.

 

It just keeps going in circles.

Same thing happened to me smh. Now I’m getting the run around about my refund advance smh. Irs accepted my return on 1/21 4:30 pm and I have no answers to why I haven’t received my advance yet

Ive done all the troubleshooting on this error message.  called support 3 times over the last 3 days.  No resolution to why this is looping us over and over only to get to "Something changed in your return, youll need to choose your refund method again"

This workaround did not work for me. I tried it several times after “Michelle, Tax Professional” recommended we try it. I do not know about the email error issue in which you included a link for. I did not experience this. 

I’ve tried clearing cache, different browser, looking for forms that possibly weren’t available yet, 3 different hour long conversations with 3 turbo tax professionals. Nothing worked. 

still receive the “Something changed with your return” please choose another refund option.  It’s an endless loop. Unable to file 

 

And just to be clear, this isn’t the message I get for “Credit Karma Refund Option”. I get this when I choose the Refund Advance Option (I realize both options will deposit to credit karma account)

I tried leaving out my state return, making my email on my new Karma Cash account the same as TurboTax email, tried incognito mode, clearing cookies/cache, talked to several people today, No one seems to understand. Seems like a glitch,

Hello 

I completely changed my email on turbotax and Credit Karma  To a total different email than Ive been using. Make sure they are spelled exactly the same on both sites.  Make sure you verify your new email on each of these accounts. Also change your username on TurboTax to the same email making sure it's spelled exactly the same. Unlink your accounts on TurboTax. Also unlink your account on credit Karma. Log out of TurboTax then log back in.  I just did this literally 5 minutes ago and it worked and I've been at this all night. You have any questions go ahead and hit me back I can help as much as I can

So suddenly after being approved for the refund advance multiple times every time I try to file and then looped over and over again I’m not qualified for it now. Called customer service and they were literally like I don’t know why sorry it’s the bank not us. Lmao. Worst customer service in a company ever.

Try changing your email on turbo and Credit Karma. Then unlink accounts on credit Karma and Turbo. May your user name the same as your new email. Making sure all three are spelled exactly the same ,same lowercase or uppercase letters. Verify the new email on turbo and verify with Credit Karma. Log out of turbo log back in. If I were you I would start all over once you did all this and it should go through.

TurboTax help is a joke. They told me it means u were denied for the advance which makes no sense! Someone n a Facebook group told me click on documents and continue that way it worked for them and bam! Worked for me to! After trying over and over going in a circle I finally got thru with no help from turbo and I only continued to file with turbo bc they already charged my debit card the filing fee!!
