Wmr bar is gone and only says refund still processing and refund date will be posted when available,with a topic 152. Still have no deposit date but they are being issued

I spoke to my friend yesterday she lives in Arizona she got accepted on Jan 30, and she hasn't received her refund either but she also said her friend filed and received her refund in less than 2 weeks and she also claimed her child, I really didn't feel like calling the IRS that's why I wanted to know if anyone has called, but I guess I have to

@jadenk7 I filed on January 23rd and my return was transmitted to the IRS January 29th. Up until a week a go I had the bar but now its saying delayed and processing. I called the IRS when I received that message. I had to hold for 45 mins just to be hung up on. I called back several times using the reference number they gave me and each time they said it was incorrect. 6th and final time calling I was finally able to speak with a representative. She stated that as of right now there was not an issue with my specific return and that if i had not received my refund by February 27th to call back. I am on Day 27 of waiting and still have heard nothing back (NO LETTER IN THE MAIL, NO MESSAGE ON THE APP)  A coworker of mine called the same day I did and they told her that if a refund was not received by March 4th to call them back. I just don't understand why everyone is being told different things and different dates for issuance when they call the IRS. I also don't understand why they wait so long to notify you that there is a problem or something with your return. This makes no sense at all. Stay positive though everyone, maybe we will see a change soon. And to the ones that have gotten returns, dates etc, blessings to you all!!

I filed 2/15 and by 2/26 my bars were gone, stating “ your tax return is still being processed & a refund date will be provides when available” on the left side my amount was missing as well but i did have tax code 152. Which i have heard if you still have that tax code that means that they most likely approved your refund they just dont have a date yet on when to send it. Woke up this morning 3/02 with good news!! My bars are back up with a DD of 3/06.. maybe if some people are experiencing the same thing  before you know it , youll have a DD .

@jmoscoso88   DITTO for me.  DDD 3/6.  I had also took a Load off my mind and Checked my tax transcript! It really helps so I had the info 2 days before the WMR tool updated!

@ljjellybean0 How did you check your transcript? I called yesterday and was told I’m under review until May 2 and should be getting a letter. Nothing has went out yet. I just checked the status and it’s still saying the same thing... still processing with the 152 message

@jcj1196 So sorry.  Google irs.gov and or how to order transcript online.   You will need to set up an account with the IRS which is very simple you’ll need your phone because they’ll text a code to your phone and then just kind of follow the prompts it’ll ask you why you want to transcript I chose that I wanted it for higher education which is one of the reasons I don’t think the choice matters and then you can view the codes on your transcript. That really sucks that you’re under review until May I wonder if there was concerns regarding identity theft ?  So sorry.  It’s a pain but from what I’ve read most people end up getting their returns ..I think you should also reach out to a tax advocate and claim hardship.  Its worth a try.   I talk to one on the phone before I got all my information she was really really nice.  GET AN ADVOCATE.

@jcj1196  and from what I understand from a friend of mine who is an accountant and she’s going to school right now to be an official person to argue before the IRS on the half of people like you. Lots of times these reviews are based on information that they can’t verify and they’re trying to verify.  So when people file their taxes in the future even though you’re allowed to file certain things without verification it’s always better to have the verification and to send it right along if you can.  And if you file with TurboTax or H&R Block and you’re able to give your drivers license information to verify that it’s you that helps but that isn’t the only thing there’s other things that you can do to give them information to verify and facilitate the process.

Hey got some good news, it may clear some stuff up for maybe a few. So, I filed in 02/03, accepted on the same day, tell me why it just got approved yesterday, 03/02 -__- now I have a ddd for 03/06because I had an offset of state debt that I did get something in the mail about, they said they were gonna take money out my state (but not my federal so now I hope my federal amount won't change like I already know my state changed because again I got something in the mail for my state not my federal)

No, it's hundreds or more going through the same thing, if you weren't going to get a refund, you would have a way different topic code, 152 is good

Also anything detrimental as far as a person not receiving a refund, your tax preparer would have told you weeks ago because they get an alert, and they also don't get paid, and the only reason that you wouldn't receive your refund, you would have an offset, and you would have a different code, I forgot what it is, it may be 151, and also there's a number that you can call to see if someone is taking your refund for debt owed, you're fine, this is the first time this has happened to me, but usually on other forums in the past whenever it's closed to the 21 days, there were plenty of people stating they lost bars.
