Amending 2016 Taxes - Not sure where to enter my payment in 1040X form based on when I paid my taxes originally

I'm amending my 2016 to add my EIC via 1040X, but I cannot find out where to enter the amount of taxes I paid on the form. I did file an extension, but I did not make a payment until I filed my taxes at my local office a few months later. The IRS sent me a bill for late fee and penalties a few months later, which I paid. All of the questions on the Windows 2016 desktop version limits my options to "Payment with Extension", not "Payment Within Extension". Had I claimed the EIC originally, I would have received a refund, not made a payment. I also understand I'll never see the penalty and interest money again. That's not my concern. Thanks!

Switch to Forms Mode and open the 1040X and enter payments on line 16.
