I needed to amend my daughters federal tax return because I entered her SSN incorrectly. When I did that, the amended return took her refunded amount (which she has not received yet) and zeroed it out and reported on line 22 that there was no refund due. This is incorrect as nothing has changed except a correction to her SSN. Did I enter something incorrectly or is this just the way the amendment works and she will be paid her refund using the original amount? thanks for any help/advice.

A zero refund on Line 22 of the Form 1040-X would be correct on the amended return since nothing other the SSN was changed from the original tax return.
Thank you for the confirmation
