After paying for your service, I decided not to file with your company because of confusion over my 1099-misc form. Is there any way for me to get a refund?

I paid for your services thinking I would be about to efile. After a very frustrating experience trying to fill in the information for my 1099-misc, I decided to file with a different company that was more user friendly. Is there any way for me to be refunded for the fees associated with your company?

Msweep15 - I work in the product experience group.  Would you mind sharing the problem(s) you ran into with filling out your 1099-misc?  I'm sorry that you had a poor experience.  Thank you in advance for any information you can share.

I received the 1099-misc because of extra work I do outside my job description. I don't own my own business. I was first put-off by the fact that I had to pay to upgrade simply because I had this form. Then the program had me in a continuous loop of review that I could not seen to find the issue nor escape, causing me to be unable to e-file

Thank you for taking the time to share this.  TurboTax only charges you when you file your taxes.  if you didn't file, you shouldn't have been charged yet.  I see that someone else is typing a more thorough answer for you.  Thanks again ~
