It has been over a week and TT is still not showing the 2023 Colorado state return as being accepted. The Federal was accepted fine. What's the issue? Is this similar to the 2022 issue? If so, Why have TT not communicated this? The communication from Intuit TT is pretty poor for the last few years. So this may be the last straw the will have me taking my business to another company. Been using TT for 2008, so I feel I have well versed on how TT products work and how they have declined in service.

How is this reply remotely related to the question or for that matter helpful?
Did you e-file the state tax return? If so, what status is showing for the return? Does it show as Pending?
Did you receive an email from TurboTax that the e-filed state tax return was transmitted?
After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.
Guess it was not obvious from my original post.
In regard to telling me how the emails work, I know all too well how they work! I've been using TT since 2008!
I need someone from Management to contact me ASAP regarding this matter before I file a formal complaint with the Colorado State Attorney General and the FTC! The support is basically non-existent, and I've am not getting what's been paid for! My phone number is listed in my accounts, yes I have several, profile so you should easily be able to get in touch with me.
I am very serious about what I am saying I will do. The deadline to respond is end of business (5 PM MST) Friday, 25 October 2024.
Regards!
I'm in the same boat. All other states have been accepted. Colorado has been pending for over a week and there is no record of the filing on the Department of Revenue website, although I did get the email telling me my return was sent. I'm assuming this will go through eventually. I imagine they get flooded around both the regular and extended tax deadlines.
If it turns out to be a TurboTax issue and CO slaps me with a failure to file penalty as a result, I will naturally expect Intuit to pay it. But I doubt it will come to that.
For those of you who are using the "Desktop" software.
Make sure you have done the following:
1) Open the tax file that was submitted
2) Then go to the top menu (not the tabs)
3) Select "File"
4) from the crop down select "Electronic Filing"
5) From the next pop-up select "Check electronic filing status"
That procedure makes absolutely sure what the current status of your e-file is.
(But no way for me to know whether there is some other issue going on)

That doesn't matter how you check the status, however, I tried your way and I get the same problem. State is showing as Pending.
This IS A TURBO TAX PROGRAM ISSUE AND THEY WILL BE PAYING ALL LATE FILING CHARGES!
Now, unless you are from Turbo Tax, please quit trying to fix this issue with obvious steps.
As one can tell, I am not happy and been using this program for a lot longer than most of you.
Regards,
Just spoke with a TT rep. He is stating that the state of Colorado is backlogged and is why the status is still pending. He stated that the state is showing it is received, despite the fact that I do not see that on the state website. Give it more time.
