2021 rejected Federal Return

Just filed today. ran error check several times. TurboTax said it was fine. Came back rejected Federal and State. Why do I have to wait until 2/18 to correct?

What is the rejection error code for the Federal return, and where are you seeing a date of February 18?

SA-F1040-027 - Schedule A (Form 1040), 'TotalCharitableContriAmt' must be equal to the sum of the following: 'GiftsByCashOrCheckAmt' and 'OtherThanByCashOrCheckAmt' and 'CarryoverFromPriorYearAmt'.

I received an email from TurboTax. Which directs me back to TurboTax online. when you go to e-file status and click on the error. it says, "this return cannot be filed at this time due to a processing error that will be corrected on February 18, 2022. On or after February 18, 2022 open the rejected return, review it for errors, and resubmit the return for electronic filing."

It sounds like it's a known issue that will be corrected on February 18.   From some other posts I've read, previously it was supposed to have been corrected on February 3 and then delayed to February 10, and now apparently, February 18.  So it looks like they keep pushing it back.

I have no first-hand experience with that error, so any more detail on the issue will have to come from someone else in this user forum who sees this thread, or you can speak to the folks at TurboTax Support.
