2021 Estimated taxes

My estimated quarterly tax for 2021 was $250/qtr. totaling $1,000 for the year. Unfortunately, I forgot to make payments 1 and 2. Should I make a 3rd quarter payment of $750 and a 4th quarter payment of $250? It was my mistake and I just want to make this right. Thanks, DW

Yes, sure. The estimates are optional to pay and the IRS is not expecting them. So you can pay any amount you want or skip them. You can cross out the amount and write in a new one.
