I have submitted my 2020 Federal and State (Pa) returns four (4) times and they have been rejected four (4) times. They say my 1099R are duplicated. I have checked and even deleted and reentered them. Each time Turbo Taxes reviews say there are no problems. What can I do to correct this situation?

I had exactly this problem and so did some other users. There was a recent update to the software that fixed it. Are you using the CD/download? Check for updates and update your software. After two rejections, once I had the update in, my return was accepted within minutes.
When I log on to Turbo Tax it tells me that updates are available. I update each time but my returns are still rejected.
I forgot to mention I use the CD downloaded to my Mac.
Aughhhhhh! There was a bug that was affecting those of who had the same amounts in box 1 of some 1099R's---even though the money had come from different accounts etc. and they fixed it--- or seems like they fixed it. Have you completely exited from the program and relaunched it to put in the updates? You might have to call customer support for more help--if they can help.

This is a copy/paste of the email they sent to me recently when they fixed this: Maybe it will help you.

And....I am on a Mac too using Big Sur.
@bummeriii Oh.... and one more trick to try if you still have no luck. There was a long thread going with other users who were having this same duplicate 1099R problem and some of them worked around it by going to one of the so-called "duplicate" 1099R's and adding a penny to the box 1 amount. Somehow that tricked the software into letting it go through without looking like a duplicate, and by the time the IRS rounds off the penny, who cares. I did not resort to trying that, but others said it worked for them. Good luck---hope you get your return to e-file!
I want to thank xmasbaby0 for the help. I finally got the returns accepted.
