1099-R for RMD with QCD reduction of taxable income. Forgot to designate "4b QCD".

Line 4b taxable income is correctly reduced by the QCD amount for an RMD on a 1099-R. However, i did not designate as QCD in the software. Do i need to file an amended return ?

No- as long as the amount is included on Line 4a, you do not have to amend your return. If it was not there you would definitely have to amend.
