I filed my taxes on 1/27/25 and have not got my refund. The IRS website says it was received and delayed beyond the typical timeframe. I double-checked all my information and it was all accurate. (For context I turned 18 in January 2025). However, the 1099 INT I received from my bank came in my father's name (since he was the account holder/ sponsor in 2024 ). When I entered my 1099 INT information I did not realize it was not in my name. Is this an issue? (Could this be why my refund is delayed?).

Yes, that could be the issue although the main concern would be what social security number was listed on the 1099-INT.
The IRS and their systems, match forms by the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) which is usually the person's Social Security Number.
If this is your account, you need to update that information with the bank.
The Social Security Number on my 1099 INT is my father's. My bank will not let me update my information to reflect my name or Social Security Number. (This 1099 INT is through Walmart MoneyCard). Since the name & Social Security Number on the 1099 INT is that of my father is the form technically his to file? Do I need to amend my return to not include it? Note: The 1099 INT is for just over $20 in interest from my savings.
