How do I open this form to enter data? Double click on the line does not open the form to adjust income.

In order to enter the information into this form you need to use the step-by-step entry process.  That's how you get to the blank to write in the explanation for your miscellaneous income.

In the 'Wages and Income' section of your Federal return scroll down all the way to the bottom to 'Less Common Income.'

Click start at the bottom next to 'Other Miscellaneous Income'.  On the next screen click start next to the last entry 'Other Reportable Income' and then you can enter a short explanation as well as the amount of income that you received.  The system will carry this over to line 8z.
