Amending my 2016 return. NYS requires us to eFile the amended return. But in Turbo Tax Desktop 2016, when i click continue to begin the eFile, nothing happens. Now what?

On the screen to begin to eFile the NYS amended return, when I click the "Continue" button, nothing happens.

You cannot efile ANY 2016 returns ... you must mail it in at this late date.

NY and VT are required to eFile amended returns. Turbo Tax specifies it in the process. And attempts to help you finish. Just nothing happens.

You CANNOT efile ANY 2016 returns of any kind after the 2016 filing season has ended ... that is an outdated warning message.   Since you must be using the downloaded version then print the return this way ...  <a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3338606">https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3338606</a>

Once again ... that is only for the current tax year not any of the prior tax years.
