I keep getting a message that says "Looks like you did not file your 2018 taxes with Turbo Tax." I spent 4 hours on the phone yesterday with a TurboTax representative explaining to them that I have the emails they sent me proving that I filed on Turbo Tax.  Nothing can be found and it will not import the 2018 information from Turbo Tax to my 2019 Turbo Tax program.  I have just wasted my money.

Did you use the account recovery website?

You have to sign onto your 2018 online account using the exact same user ID you used to create the 2018 online account.

Close all TurboTax windows on your web browser (including this one).  Copy and paste the account recovery website link onto a new web browser window and run the tool.

Use this TurboTax account recovery website to get a list of all the user ID's for an email address.  Run the tool against any email addresses you may have used - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery

If none of the user ID's received will access your 2018 account, then use the option shown in blue on the account recovery website, "Try something else"

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

I filed my 2018 return with Turbo Tax. I go on today and it is saying I never filed a 2018 return which is incorrect.

I have tried to speak to someone in person but have gotten no where. My whole turbo tax returns have been WIPED. Total and complete BULL**bleep**!

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Instructions worked for me, a bit confusing since I had to click 'Continue' on the first screen before given the option to view return from last year.

If you filed your prior year return with TurboTax, you would want to sign in using the same TurboTax account as in prior years. You can Download PDF and should be able to print it once you have downloaded it. The link below should be able to assist you with how to access the return:

I came across the same issue.  With this being my first time filing with TurboTax, they needed last year AGI number.  I had to talk to my tax preparer from last year to get it, because I could not find my files.  If this is your issue I strongly suggest that you do the same.  It is a whole lot faster than to get it mailed.
