I was denied a tax extension, but I need one due to not receiving a K1 for my fathers business which I am part owner of. What can I do about this?

Here are your options:

1. If the extension got rejected, see How do I fix a rejected return?
2. You may try and file an extension using TurboTax Easy Extension. You'll get an email confirmation.
3. Print out IRS Form 4868, fill it out and mail to the IRS today. Make sure it gets postmarked 4-15-19.
