I imported my brokerage statement fine. Now I've been notified that is has been revised. do I need to just re-import, or will that cause duplicate entries?

how do I proceed?  Clear out old data first or does it overwrite?

You need to delete the original first before importing the revised information.

There is still a chance that this may not work. It seems that some of the brokerages upload there corrected forms differently and that you might import the original all over again. If this is the case, you would have to manually enter.

Try to delete and import using the instructions in the answer below.
