"You may want to withdraw money from your HSA." ?!! No way - I did not pay any excess amount.

My Employer does not let me enter excess Health Savings Account amount .

Under Personal Income section. Turbotax is asking "You may want to withdraw money from your HSA."

And the excess contribution is exactly my entered amount ($5000) on my W2 Box 12 W. I have deleted and re-entered W2, 1099-SA, (if one), 8889-T, and 8889-S (if one) at least twice and the second time I entered the W2 manually. As well as going through the HSA interview twice. 

I had Medicare for all of 2024 and over 65 years old.

 

*** I found my own answer. Once a person has Medicare they cannot contribute to HSA. ***
