This year I'll be filing for my wife, I and also a sole proprietorship she started in 2017. Which Turbotax product is best for us?

You'll need to use TurboTax Self-Employed to report business income and expenses of your sole proprietorship (Schedule C).

What if the sales for the business for the whole year was less than $600 and did not qualify to receive a 1099-MISC or 1099-K from Etsy.com (the website she sells from)? After buying the TurboTax Self-Employment should I follow the instructions and type "Schedule C" in the search bar? Will TurboTax Self-employed product also allow me to file personal income tax for my wife and I...meaning we don't have to buy an additional product...just the TurboTax Self-Employment?

TurboTax Self-Employed will let you file all income (W.2s, rental income, business income). You do not need any other product.
If you do not receive a form 1099-MISC because the amount was less than $600, you still have to report the income on your tax return. Please follow the instructions to enter your business income. In the section, you can also enter any business expenses that you have.

I'm trying to decide whether it would be cheaper to buy TurboTax now instead of wait till I receive all my tax documents from the institutions. Costco sells Deluxe, Premier & Home and Business at a discount if we buy before the end of Jan'18. Would it be cheaper to buy one of these products now rather than wait till closer to tax due date and buy it while doing the web version of TurboTax? If so, which one do I buy? None of them are called "TurboTax Self-employment".

TurboTax Self-Employment is available online. If you wish to use it as a program on your computer, the equivalent is TurboTax Home & Business (CD/Download).
