How do I fill in schedule 1 line 21 i have additional income. Where do i find that form in Turbotax?

You can follow these steps to enter "Other Income" that will print on Line 21 of Schedule 1: 

• Sign In to TurboTax Online
• Click "Take Me to my Return"
• Click "Federal" from the left side of your screen
• [You may need to scroll down and click "Show All Income" to get to the next step]
• Scroll down to "Less Common Income" and click "Show More"
• Click "Start" to the right of Form 1099-A, 1099-C
• Scroll down to "Other Reportable Income" and click "Start"
• On the Any Other Taxable Income? screen, click Yes.
• On the Other Taxable Income screen, add a description and the dollar amount.
• Continue with the onscreen interview until complete.

For tax year 2019, other income is now reported on line 8 of Schedule 1. 

Follow these steps if you have a 1099-MISC:

• Under the Federal menu, click on Wages & Income
• Review the menu for 1099-MISC and Other Common Income
• Click Start/Update next to Form 1099-MISC
• Enter the information as shown on your document

If you did not receive a 1099-MISC:

• Under the Federal menu, click on Wages & Income
• Review the menu for Less Common Income
• Depending on the type of income to report, click Start/Update and enter the information
